Facebook-owned WhatsApp has assured the Indian Supreme Court that it will not launch WhatsApp Pay without complying fully with the norms of Reserve Bank of India. The firm said that currently, the payment app is on a trial run and it will likely be completed by July this year. The statement from the messaging app came after the SC was hearing a plea seeking directions for the firm to follow the RBI norms for its app.
