The World's first hydrogen-powered trains Coradia iLint, built by French TGV-maker Alstom, started their run on the 100km route between cities of Cuxhaven, Bremerhaven, Bremervoerde and Buxtehude in Germany. The two bright blue trains, equipped with hydrogen fuel cells that emit only steam and water, can run for 1000kms on a single tank, making them costlier but more environmentally-safe than the diesel trains.
