Xiaomi beats Samsung, becomes top smartphone seller in India

For the first time in six years, Samsung has lost its crown as top smartphone seller in India, to China’s Xiaomi in the last quarter of 2017. Xiaomi has aggressively priced their high spec stuffed handsets and their effective market expansion strategy and the flash sales on Flipkart and Amazon have really worked in their favour. Xiaomi has 25% market share compared to Samsung in the last quarter of 2017.
