7,000 railway stations to get Primary health stations soon

7,000 railway stations across the country may soon get primary healthcare centers along with Jan Aushadhi stores and sanitary pad vending machines as part of efforts to boost the national healthcare plan proposed in Budget 2018-19. The railway industry and the health and family welfare ministry are working together on the project while talking to the to use retired doctors and ex-army hospital staff for it.
