Air India commemorates its historic first flight 70 years ago
As a homage to Indians in the UK and the India-UK relationship, Air India is reaching out to the 42 passengers, including some Maharajas, of its first flight, which took them from Mumbai to London 70 years ago. The recognition of this important moment in Indian aviation industry, especially during Air India’s current disinvestment phase, is being marked by Debashis Golder, Air India Regional Manager – UK and Europe.
