Airline Companies Drop Rs 3000 Cancellation Fee
As the festive season is arriving, good news coming for domestic flyers. Airlines companies dropped the cancellation charges for 'cheap' domestic air ticket from flat Rs 3,000. Instead, it would be Rs 3,000 or base fare plus fuel surcharge per passenger, whichever is lower. The rule came after the Directorate General of Civil Aviation asked the airlines to provide data on cancellation charges.
