The Delhi Traffic police launched e-challan and e-payment gateway systems. Now, traffic violators can pay fine online from anywhere. This new system is likely to result in improved prosecution and better road safety standards in Delhi. An SMS will be sent to violator along with details of the violation and a link to verify it. The violator can then pay fine online and need not visit to make the payment.
