DGCA cracks down on air safety breach: 2 Pawan Hans, 3 Indigo pilots suspended in a day

The DGCA suspended 5 pilots - 2 from Pawan Hans helicopter service company & 3 work with Indigo. The Pawan Hans pilots didn't deploy the landing gear during a flight to Guwahati, so the belly of helicopter touched the runway, causing damage to the aircraft. Both the pilots have been suspended for 3 months. 3 Indigo pilots were held guilty of not reporting vibrations in the Pratt & Whitney engines of Airbus A320 neo aircraft.
