DGCA ordered inspections for cracks on Spicejet's 23 Boeing 737 planes

DGCA has ordered inspections for cracks on a part of Spicejet's Boeing 737 fleet following a similar move by the US FAA. The civil aviation regulator will conduct inspections for structural cracks on about 23 Boeing planes including both passenger & freight planes; & only those aircraft that have completed 26,000 FC will be inspected. The official said-if the planes are found to be in order then the aircraft will be released.
