DGCA proposes breath analyser test for air traffic controllers, aircraft engineers & ground staff

DGCA proposed a breath analyser test for air traffic controllers, aircraft maintenance personnel & ground handling staff. At present, only pilots & cabin crew are subject to the breath analyser test. It checks whether the person concerned has consumed alcohol or not. The test will be applicable to flight dispatchers, aerodrome operation personnel, fire & rescue personnel, vehicle drivers & ground equipment operators.
