Gaudi's iconic Sagrada familia church gets building permit, 137 years after the work began

La Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona is an architectural wonder, and 137 years after the construction began, it finally got its permit. The construction of the iconic Gothic structure was unfinished till date and the Spanish seaside council has awarded the license to the committee responsible for the construction of the church to finish the work. The construction began in 1882, and 2016, it was discovered that it never had the required planning permission.
