All airports have a tower to assure us that planes are being guided safely along set paths- air traffic control tower. But it is not the case with Sweden's new Scandinavian Mountains airport. It's one of the world's 1st airports to pioneer new remote air traffic control technology, wherein the operators are not on-site but in a low-rise building some 300km away. Multiple cameras & sensors will relay data to a control center.
