Hindon airbase to start low-cost flights from February 2019

Hindon airbase will soon start flights to passengers from Delhi to Pithoragarh, Jaisalmer, Kannur, Allahabad and Gorakhpur. This is the largest airbase in Asia and it will be ready by mid-February 2019. IGI Delhi airport did not have any vacant spot left and it couldn't accommodate anymore low-cost flights. The flights from Hindon under the UDAN-II scheme will include routes undertaken by low-cost carriers.
