Rohtak will get India’s first elevated railway track to reduce traffic jams in Rohtak- Sonepat and Rohtak- Delhi roads. Haryana CM, Manohar Lal Khattar has inaugurated the ambitious project on 17th March 2018 and it is going to cost Rs.8 crore to develop this 6km long track. The concept of elevated railway corridors is not new to the world as Japan, France and a few other countries have them already.
