Indian Beach to be first in Asia to receive Blue Flag certification
13 Indian beaches in Odisha, Maharashtra and other coastal regions are undergoing a transformation under the management of Society for Integrated Coastal Management, which is working to meet the 33 environmental and tourism standards of the Blue Flag certification program. Chandrabhaga beach in Odisha, which has achieved these required levels of cleanliness and amenities, will be certified on World Environment Day.
