International tourism saw 1.4 billion arrivals in 2018

As per the predictions, 1.4 billion international tourists were expected in 2020 but the target was met the last year only, as informed by the United Nations World Tourism Organization. The UNWTO said that there was an increase of 6% to 1.4 billion in 2018 in worldwide international tourist arrivals. The Middle East saw a growth of 10% in tourism and Africa of 7% followed by Asia and the Pacific and Europe both 6%.
