IRCTC allows booking of special trains, coaches online
IRCTC has come up with a time-saving initiative which will now allow individuals, who seek to book special trains, coaches can book it online through “single window booking system”. Although 5% charge on the total fare shall be levied, over 30% service charge on such bookings. Indian Railways is also stepping towards Digital India as all transactions including a security deposit of ₹ 50,000 per coach will now be digital.
