Kashmir to get connected with rest of India through rail by December 2021

The Central Government has set a fresh deadline for completion of the world's highest railway bridge. As per the deadline, the bridge will be completed before December 2021, after which Kashmir will get connected with rest of India through rail network. Konkan Railway Chairman Sanjay Gupta said it was the most challenging task in the 150-year-long history of the railways. He further added that it will be an engineering marvel.
