Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project missed its deadline of land acquisition as only 39% of the 1380 hectares of land has been acquired till now. The NHSRCL has acquired 537 of 1387 hectares land required in Maharashtra & Gujarat. They acquired 471 of 940 hectares of land in Gujarat while 66 of 431 in Maharashtra. 9 hectares of land is required in Dadra & Nagar Haveli, but not even a single piece of land has been acquired yet.
