NHAI’s warns officials over poor highway maintenance

Over poor maintenance of Madurai-Virudhunagar national highway, Recently Madurai High Court asked the NHAI to cut the toll price. Following which NHAI has warned its officials to maintain the highways properly across the country and in case of poor maintenance the toll prices will be halved as a consequence. NHAI has decided not to challenge court order and asked all state's officials to ensure "preventive maintenance".
