Former Indian Hockey Team captain, Sardar Singh has announced on Wednesday that he is retiring from the international hockey. After a disappointing performance by Indian Hockey Team at Asian Games this year, the 32-year-old player took this decision in which they secured a bronze medal. After Asiad he expressed his interest to play for the last time in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, it is speculated that he was forced to retire.
