99 dies after consuming poisonous liquor; 79,000 liters liquor seized

It is normal among the residents of Uttar Pradesh to purchase liquor worth Rs 10 and Rs 30 in white plastic pouches but deaths weren't. In the last 4 days, 99 people have died due to the consumption of country-made alcohol- 59 in Saharanpur, 10 in Kushinagar & 30 in Haridwar. A UP govt spokesperson informed that during the probe, 3,049 people have been arrested and 79,000 liters of country-made liquor seized in the state.
