Air India clarified that passengers are allowed to carry Zamzam cans within their permissible baggage allowance. Earlier, passengers of Air India flights AI966 and AI964 were not allowed to carry the cans. The airways apologized for the inconvenience caused and took to Twitter to clarify. The Hajj pilgrims carry Zamzam water from the well at Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and weren't allowed the aircraft to ensure flight safety.
