Anti-gay row: Israel Folau sues Rugby Australia

Israel Folau took Rugby Australia and NSW Waratahs to court for unfair dismissal. The decision came after the former Wallaby and RA player failed to reach any agreement at a hearing in June. RA terminated Folau’s contract over a social media post in which he paraphrased a Bible passage, saying “drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists, and idolaters” would go to hell unless they repented.
