Ben Stokes nominated for New Zealand's top honour?

England claimed their maiden ICC World Cup beating New Zealand, and Ben Stokes was the star of the final. There’s been a lot of talk on Stokes’ heritage. He was born in New Zealand but moved to England at the age of 12. Even Stokes’ father Gerard supported New Zealand in the final despite his son turning out for England. Now, to surprise everyone, Stokes has been nominated for the New Zealander of the Year award.
