BJP-AIADMK wins support of PMK in TN, alliance announced

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2019, has come the alliance of BJP and AIADMK in Tamil Nadu. The combination has defeated the Congress in the state by getting the support of the PMK. A senior AIADMK leader informed that PMK will be part of the NDA in Tamil Nadu as PMK is having a support of the OBC Vanniyar community in northern TN. PMK was also part of the NDA in 2014 elections. BJP will contest on 5 seats.
