Dominic Thiem beats Djokovic to enter French Open final

Austrian 4th seed Dominic Thiem destroyed Novak Djokovic’s French Open hopes as he returned to Court Philippe Chatrier on Saturday after a rain-interrupted semifinal to wrap up a 6-2 3-6 7-5 5-7 7-5 victory. Now it will be a repeat of last year’s final against Rafael Nadal. It’s a huge task for the Austrian to take on 11-time French Open champion Nadal in less than 24 hours for his first Grand Slam title opportunity.
