England Cricket Club introduces vegan balls replacing leather ones

In a first, an English Cricket Club is all set to switch from traditional leather balls to new ‘vegan’ ones. Best known as the vegan cricket club, Earley Cricket Club in Reading in west London has decided to test vegan cricket balls made using a unique rubber covering. The English club had already brought in a vegan-friendly tea featuring Moroccan tagine, curries, and rice for their cricketers two years ago.
