Fake update app tricks millions of Samsung users

A fake Samsung OS updates app named ‘Updates for Samsung - Android Update Versions’ has managed to dup more than 10 million users over the past few weeks. However the app is no longer available in Play store. Experts say it had nothing to do with Samsung and only served Samsung users ads and charged them money in return. The fake app also claimed that it would give users free as well as paid Samsung firmware updates.
