Floods create a river of plastic trash in Romania

Torrential rains that recently resulted in flooding regions across Romania show a devastating human impact on the earth. A viral Facebook video shows literally a river of garbage going downstream. Romania has a poor track record when it comes to waste management. The European Commission has even lashed out at the Romanian government over managing waste and has also allocated funding to improve waste disposal systems.
