The French Ministry violated the gender-equality quota as it hired too few women to major positions in 2017. As per the law, each gender must have a minimum of 40% representatives among civil servants to positions of responsibility & management. However, only 26 % are women, French ambassadors, as per Le Monde reports. Most of the women are in the lowest C category with 67% of women working in civil service jobs.
