Indian Olympic Association may boycott 2022 CWG

The Indian Olympic Association has proposed a complete boycott of 2022 Commonwealth Games to be held in Birmingham. IOA president Narinder Batra has already written to sports minister Kiren Rijiju informing their stance. IOA’s unprecedented move came after the CWG organizers scrapped shooting from the Games program. They include women’s cricket, para table tennis and beach volleyball in place of shooting.
