Instagram adds a public 'Collections' feature; seeking to eclipse Pinterest

A leaked code from the Android version of Instagram shows that it goes head to head with Pinterest by carrying out a trial with its new public 'Collections' feature. Similarly, previously Instagram has integrated Instagram Stories to rival Snapchat and the Facebook-owned app is now going after Pinterest Boards. The Collections feature allows multiple users to contribute saved images to certain genres.
