Leading biscuit maker, Parle to scrap off 10,000 Workers due to reduced demands

The economic slowdown has led companies to curtail production starting from cars, clothes, and even the leading biscuits makers. Sources reported that Parle Products Pvt Ltd might dismiss 10,000 employees as slow economic growth and falling demand. Increase in taxes compelled Parle to give fewer biscuits per pack, which hit the demand of lower-income rural consumer Indians as they are price sensitive.
