Mohamed Salah’s early penalty along with a late strike by Divock Origi guided Liverpool to a sixth Champions League silverware on Saturday as they toppled Tottenham 2-0 in the all-English final hurdle in Madrid. Sala’s spot-kick was also one of the fastest ever goals in Champions League history. Incidentally, Jurgen Klopp’s boys were defeated in last year’s final showdown against Spanish champions Real Madrid.
