PM Modi inaugurates world's tallest 'Statue of Unity'

PM Modi has inaugurated Statue of Unity today on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is the world's largest statue 182-metre, tallest than the Spring Temple Buddha in China (128m), and almost double the height of the Statue of Liberty in New York. The statue is made in Gujarat's Narmada district and is built at the cost of Rs. 2,989 crore. It is completed in 5 years.
