Punjab man sets a precedent by getting a Masters degree at 83

An 83-year-old man, Sohan Singh Gill has set an example for society by earning a Masters' degree at the age of 83. Gill is a resident of Daata village of Hoshiarpur and had left his studies after graduation from Khalsa College, Mahipalpur, in 1957. Gill took a teaching course from Khalsa College, Amritsar after his graduation, before leaving his studies. Gill joined a distance education centre for MA in English.
