Saudi Arabia announces a Princess as its first female ambassador to USA

Princess Rima, the daughter of a former long-time ambassador to the US, becomes the first female ambassador to the US in Saudi history. She is also the first female to have a rank of a minister, depicting a strong integration of women into the government & workforce. She was working with the General Sports Authority wherein she led campaigns to encourage and increase women's participation in sports.
