Shooter Yashaswini secures 9th Olympic quota for India

Yashaswini Singh Deswal sealed India’s 9th Olympic quota in shooting after winning the women’s 10m air pistol gold in the ISSF World Cup. The 22-year-old former junior world champion scored 236.7 in the final of this season’s fourth World Cup for pistol and rifle shooters. World no.1 Olena Kostevych of Ukraine grabbed the silver with 234.8 and Serbia’s Jasmina Milavonovic won the bronze with 215.7 points.
