Snapchat opens first office in India, looks to build local team

Social media application Snapchat has opened its first office in Mumbai, India and is looking to build a local team, the chief strategy officer stated. It is learnt that the local team will focus on expanding strategic partnerships, building an engaged community of creators and users. They have also appointed their first employee in India, Dugesh Kaushik, who is part of the International Markets expansion team.
