ULFA denies involvement in killing of 5 men in Tinsukia district

On Thursday, 6 men were kidnapped and shot at by suspected ULFA (I) militants in Tinsukia district. The group has denied its involvement in the killing in a written statement. Out of the 6 men, 4 died on the spot while one is in hospital and 6th one is injured. The ULFA (1) issued their statement after Assam Police ADGP Mukesh Agarwala said that they were behind the attack. Assam CM says strong action will be taken.
