Upper Caste Hindus Richest; Owns 41% of India's Total Wealth

According to the recent study named 'Wealth Ownership & Inequality in India: A Socio-religious analysis'; the population belonging to Hindu High Castes were found to be 4 times wealthier than those as SC. HHCs hold 41% of the total wealth in India, which is almost double their population size. The distribution of wealth also varies across the states; highest being Maharashtra, followed by UP, Kerala, TN & Haryana.
