US sending back Indian statues stolen from there

The US is sending back 2 antique statues stolen from India and were displayed at 2 American museums. Depicting the representation of Lord Shiva, the 1st statue is ‘Lingodhbhavamurti’ worth $225,000. The 2nd depicts the bodhisattva of wisdom, ‘Manjusri’ is worth $275,000. The statues were given to India’s Consul General in NY, Ambassador Sandeep Chakravorty on Tuesday during a repatriation ceremony at the Indian Consulate.
