Against New Zealand, he needs just 24 runs to surpass Sourav Ganguly’s figure of 465 runs in a single edition and become the Indian captain with most runs in a single edition. If he does manage hit his first century at Old Trafford he will also become the 3rd Indian skipper to hit a World Cup century after Kapil Dev & Sourav Ganguly.
