Warner Brothers confirm Robert Pattinson as new Batman

Warner Brothers have confirmed Robert Pattinson will play the titular role in ‘The Batman’, a trilogy which Matt Reeves is set to direct. Nicholas Hoult, who will reprise his role in the latest ‘X-Men: First Class’ film ‘Dark Phoenix’, was also in the run. The new Batman film is set to be bankrolled by Dylan Clark who produced Reeves’ earlier ‘Planet of the Apes’ films. An official announcement is expected soon.
