WC 2019: Why there’s no reserve day for league fixtures?

Three matches, including Tuesday's Sri Lanka-Bangladesh game, have been washed out this World Cup, making it the most in a single World Cup. But ICC still sticks to their point of not having reserve days for league matches. ICC CEO David Richardson says it would impact many factors like pitch preparation, team recovery, venue availability, volunteer & match officials availability, broadcast logistics and many more.
