Zuckerberg: Facebook will sue to stop EU’s global content takedowns

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said the social media giant will challenge Europe’s top court, which has ruled that EU countries can now direct Facebook to globally remove content violating local laws. Facebook right now complies with proper legal requests to take down content that’s against a nation’s laws. However it leaves the content for global viewers if the post isn’t violating Facebook’s Community Standards.
