Keerthy Suresh is an Indian artist and actress. She was born on October 17, 1992, in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India. She has primarily appeared in Tamil, Telegu, and Malayalam movies. She has received National Film Award for being the best actress for performing Savitri role in Telegu movie named Mahanati (2018).
Keerthy is the daughter of South Indian actress Menaka Suresh and producer G. Suresh Kumar. Keerthy started her acting career as a child actress in the early 2000s and later returned to the industry after studying fashion design. Geetanjali, a 2013 Malayalam film, was her first lead role. She later appeared in Ring Master (2014), Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), Rajini Murugan (2016), Remo (2016), Nenu Sailaja (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Thaana Serndha Kootam (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), and Sarkar (2018).
Early life and child actress
Keerthy's father, G. Suresh Kumar, is a Malayali filmmaker, and her mother, Menaka, is a Tamil actress. Her elder sister is Revathy Suresh. Keerthy attended school in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, until the fourth grade. She then attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, before returning to Chennai to study in the Pearl Academy, where she earned a fashion design degree.
She has spent four months on an exchange program in Scotland before finishing a two-month internship in London. A career in Malayalam movies (2013-2014)
Eleven years after Kuberan, she made her lead acting debut in Priyadarshan's horror film Geethaanjali. She played a dual role. She was still in school at the time, and she fired for Geethanjali during her semester break.
The film and her performance received mixed reviews, with Sify writing that she "puts in some effort but makes only a tiny impression in a double role, and Rediff writing that she "has got a plum role but whether she impresses with her acting talent is another matter. Keerthy's next film, Ring Master, was directed by Rafi of the Rafi Mecartin duo, and she co-starred with Dileep.
Tamil and Telegu Movies (2015-2017)
Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam in 2015. She signed on to star in several Tamil film projects at the same time. Her first film release was A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), in which she starred alongside Vikram Prabhu. Still, the film did not do well at the box office.
Because of her busy schedule in 2015, she had to drop out of films she had already begun working on, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to accommodate larger projects. As a result, she worked on two films with Sivakarthikeyan in fast succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also starring in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari alongside Dhanush.
Public acclaim and widespread popularity (2018–20)
Agnyaathavaasi in Telugu was her first release in 2018. Thaana Serndha Kootam, her first Tamil film in 2018, starred her opposite Suriya for the first time. The film received favorable reviews and went on to become a success. She also appeared in Nag Ashwin's epic Mahanati. She played the late southern actress Savitri and earned critical acclaim for her role. In late 2018, she appeared in three commercial films in a row: Saamy 2 with Vikram, Sandakozhi 2 with Vishal, and Sarkar with Vijay, directed by AR Murugadoss.

Keerthy co-starred with Nithiin in the Telugu film Rang De in 2021.
As of 2021, she has committed to some projects, including the Malayalam film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Mohanlal the Telugu film Good Luck Sakhi. She has also revealed that she will play one of the female leads in Rajinikanth's Annaatthe, directed by Siva. In August 2020, she agreed to appear in Saani Kaayidham, directed by Selvaraghavan, as his acting debut. She began filming for Parasuram's Sarkari Vaari Paata, alongside Mahesh Babu, in January 2021. Keerthy will also feature in the Malayalam film Vaashi alongside Tovino Thomas.
