Another luxury carmaker, Mercedes-Benz, will not launch an EV in India soon

After BMW, yet another German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz announced that it won't launch an electric vehicle anytime soon. Benz decided to stay away from the Indian market in Aug 2019 as EV infrastructure built is ambiguous & uncertain & said it will be happy to enter India once there is clarity over demand for EVs. Mercedes-Benz is also concerned about the EV infrastructure in the country & market demand.
