Army goes Eco-friendly to fight pollution; launches 10 E-Cars in Delhi

Indian army launched a batch of 10 electric cars in Delhi for official use, as an eco-friendly initiative. The pilot project of 10 electric cars is done in connection with Energy Efficiency Services Ltd [EESL], a joint venture of central PSUs under the Ministry of Power. The Army plans to develop further on this initiative and increase the number of e-Cars in Delhi to ensure economy, efficiency, and minimal emissions.
